Toilet Tap- Is This The New Norm?

A recent article found on today.com discusses the current drought situation in Wichita, TX.  Due to the effects of a 3 year drought Wichita is struggling to find water resources that they can tap into to effectively cover the Wichita population.  However, the town is looking into a rather controversial solution turning toilet water to tap water.

Due to the declining tap water resources in Wichita, the town has found another solution to the water problems by treating wastewater and transforming it into water safe enough to drink!  The logic behind this water solution is to put the wastewater through two water treatment processes.  The first being the normal wastewater treatment process followed by the drinking water treatment process.
